About Tom
Tom is an Alzheimer Scotland Clinical Research Fellow. He is a higher trainee in old age psychiatry in South East Scotland and, having practiced medicine in Inverness, London and Edinburgh, became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2008.

About Lewis
My research is based on a specific impairment seen in patients with Alzheimer's Disease (AD), which is that they cannot hold the integration or "binding" of visual information (like the combination of an object's shape and colour) in short term memory.

About Sarah
My research involves using item response theory (IRT) to examine the psychometric properties of the standard memory test in the UK; the Addenbrookes Cognitive Examination-Revised (ACE-R). Determining IRT properties of the scales will provide a more in depth view of cognitive function.

About Ratko
My research looks to develop and implement a new, more comprehensive apathy scale, which quantifies differenent apthetic subtype impairments through subscales. This new scale will assess patients with all severieties of AD.
