Luisa studied veterinary medicine at Cambridge, working in general practice and clinical research, before joining the Centre to undertake a PhD in 2018. She is interested in the methods used to analyse large spatiotemporal datasets and their application to health and environmental data. Her PhD is focusing on the effect of environmental factors over an individual's lifetime on their risk of developing dementia in old age.
