Helen Corby Social Data Research

Helen previously studied undergraduate Psychology and a Masters in Clinical and Health Psychology at Newcastle University. She came to Edinburgh in 2016 after being awarded a joint 1+3 studentship between the Centre for Cognitive Ageing and Cognitive Epidemiology (CCACE) and the Administrative Data Research Centre - Scotland (ADRC-S). Here, she completed a Master of Public Health before beginning her PhD research in September 2017. Her research looks at older adults receiving social care in Scotland, and what factors are associated with needing social care in later-life.
